Care instructions for your sneakers – keep them fresh longer

Your shoes deserve a little love
A good pair of sneakers is an investment. With proper care, you can significantly extend the life of your shoes and keep them looking good for longer. Here are our best tips!
1. Clean them regularly
Dirt and dust can break down the material of your shoes over time. Clean them regularly with a soft brush or damp cloth.
- Upper: Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap.
- Sole: Use an old toothbrush to get into the grooves.
- Inside: Let the shoes air out after use to avoid odors.
2. Avoid the washing machine
It may seem convenient to throw your shoes in the washing machine, but it can damage the material and adhesive. Hand washing is always safer.
3. Store them correctly
Store your sneakers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. UV radiation can fade colors and make materials crack over time.
- Use shoe trees to maintain their shape.
- Store in their original packaging or a breathable bag.
4. Rotate your shoes
Don't wear the same pair every day. By rotating between several pairs, your shoes get time to air out and recover, which extends their life.
5. Protect them in advance
Use an impregnation spray on new shoes before you start wearing them. It creates a protective layer against water and dirt and makes cleaning much easier.
6. Replace insoles as needed
The insoles take the most wear and tear. When they start to feel worn, you can easily replace them with new ones to get back the cushioning and comfort you love.
Summary
With a little regular care, your ultralight sneakers can last for years. Treat them well and they'll take care of your feet – day after day!
